A Message from Dr. Richey

I am very pleased to announce that my new office is open! My staff and I are available to provide up-to-date, evidence-based OBGYN care in a friendly and personalized way.

We believe that good communication through availability and familiarity are essential to provide the best care. My office staff will personally answer your call and respond to your individual needs. We also have a patient portal for e-mail access and prompt communication of lab results.

The Pregnancy and Delivery Care has a dedicated focus on supporting natural childbirth. I am very proud to provide my patients with the very best chance possible to have a normal vaginal delivery. My Cesarean Delivery Rate is the lowest compared to all other providers at Providence Little Company of Mary Hospital. This is because my philosophy of care has always been aligned with the philosophy of the midwife, as opposed to the traditional medical model of Obstetrical care.

For High-Risk OB patients, I work in consultation with a Perinatologist to insure that the mother will also experience the normal, positive aspects of having a healthy baby. I provide state-of-the-art routine ultrasound exams in the office performed by a certified, experienced ultrasound technician.

Well Woman Care is available for young ladies, just starting their journeys into womanhood, continues through the eventful reproductive years and on to the menopause and beyond! Care includes periodic check-ups, preventive screening (Pap tests, STI tests, Mammogram referrals), contraception (birth control pills, IUDs, injections) and menopause care, including hormone replacement therapy.

Gynecology Care is provided for all the female problems that arise along the way: problems with periods, abnormal Paps, sexually transmitted infection (STI) treatment, vaginal infections and all abnormal uterine bleeding.
